Modern Times and Korfball

In the Netherlands Korfball is played in two zones with the playing rules as the IKF prescribes.
Only the youth under 10 years plays a different form: one - zone - korfball. (In my opinion it should be better that the youth till 14 years old, plays one-zone- korfball)

In the Netherlands we have two competitions: inside (sport hall) and outside on the grass.

In the south of the Netherlands there is also a discipline of Korfball that is not mixed but only played by women. They call that women korfball. Nowadays these ladies want to develop internationally but are hindered by the IKF since the IKF rightly insists on the basic principle that Korfball is "the only mixed sport in the world".
Still there are some ways for women to realize their international ambitions. This is possible, even on the umbrella of the KNKV.
1. They can join the Netball ladies or
2. They go for their own brand and give the discipline its own name. I suggest "SHEball".

KNKV is an association with many members with different motives for doing korfball. Not everyone likes to play for the result and the best performance.
Not everyone loves to join the league every week.
The fun of playing and playing in a team is another legal objective.
Other legal objectives are "korfball as teamsport is healthy", or "korfball for recreation after work gives satisfaction.
These motives and objectives put new demands on the KNKV and clubs.
This means that the KNKV has to review the idea that competition is the core business of the association. The thinking of the pyramid is just not fitting for all the members.
Now KNKV has to look for other forms than competitions and other disciplines.
I suggest monokorfbal on the beach , in the pitch, on the street with playing rules like ice-hockey where lines can come in and can go out.
I suggest street korfball as 2 against 2 around one post.
I suggest fun forms like the acrobatic korfball. (see the movie of MKBA)
Also the new information technology gives new chances for styling korfball and being involved in Korfball in a modern way.
I hope that my readers has more suggestions?
I hope that IKF will look for more and new disciplines in our sport Korfball?
