Farewell Ricky Wu

Next saturday the farewell game for Ricky Wu is PKC - Nic.

Ricky Wu had a fantastic indoor season with Nic. in the Korfbal League.

In the list of the KNKV statistics, he got the 5th place.

He played till now 17 matches; scored 115 goals from distance; 6 goals by Running - in; 16 goals by free passes and 21 goals by a penalties.

By the absence of Michiel Gerritsen he was the star of Nic.

Congratulation for Ricky.

We hope to see him back next season!

8. Ines Biocas TV interview in Netherlands

Since September 2009 Ines Biocas, a player of the National team of Portugal, plays for the Dutch club Koog Zaandijk. She has also been invited to train with the Dutch national team supervised by coach van den Bos.

"The operation on Monday was successful. My ACL was repaired and my meniscus was re-attached. It was a pity that my meniscus did not grow together by it self. Now I have to be resting for the next 6 weeks; a lot quieter than expected. Even so, this has no real affect on my further rehabilitation; I can still be back after 6 to 9 months".

Ricky scored 5 goals out of 38 attempts. As Bear he won 6 rebounds out of 8.

Top Player Michiel Gerritsen was injured last Sunday. (Michiel Gerritsen played for the Dutch National Team 47 matches). He described his injury as:

"It's the other knee, but I heard the same creaking sound and felt the same."

He just came back from another serious injury. Hopefully he will be back again during the EC tournament in the Netherlands, autumn 2010. Otherwise, Nic / Alfa-college from Groningen have to do the KL competition without its best player, just like last season.
In the team of Nic there is also a top player from Taiwan: Ricky Wu. The main role of Ricky is "Tiger". We hope that he can amuse the Dutch audience with his special talents.
